Starting a YouTube channel

I just started my YouTube channel

Why you might be asking? Well, it’s definitely not because I want to become an influencer. I don’t really see myself as one (at least for now).

What for?

Instead, the main goal of the channel would be to keep track of my progress in web development. I’d also like to develop my speaking skills, especially the English IT jargon. And in the end who knows, it might even help someone out who is struggling with the same concepts that I’m talking about 🙂.

What will I be posting?

In short: web development content (who would’ve guessed). Whether that be a tutorial, talking about a specific topic - like hot trends, or deep diving into a framework. Whatever feels interesting or useful to me.

As for now, I have a few things in mind. I’m working on a personal project in Laravel + React which I plan on using as a project for my master’s degree. So I’ll be talking about Laravel concepts that I’m using in that project.

For example:

• rate limiters
• policies
• migrations
• testing
• mailing
• and so on…

Even though the app is only for the Croatian market, I’m hoping to release the project to the public one day as well!

Alongside that, I’m planning on releasing some content about Astro since I work with it a lot.

Final thoughts

I’m excited to start this journey, and I’m looking forward to sharing my knowledge. Lets hope I get better at all the things mentioned as well.
